School of the Osage, a progressive and growing school system, draws its name from the nearby Osage River and the Native American people who once lived in the area.
Our school has consistently been rated as “Accredited with Distinction in Performance” by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This is the state’s highest level of Accreditation. Our Board of Education has twice in the past two years been nominated by the Missouri School Boards Association for Board of the Year consideration.
The district enrollment of over 1,800 includes a K-2 elementary, upper elementary (3-5), middle school (6-8) and high school. The schools and students of School of the Osage have received numerous awards in athletic, academic, and music competitions and have received local, state, and national awards of distinction for the achievements of our students, and faculty.
