Summer School enrollment forms will be coming later this month. Summer school will start June 2 and will end June 19. This program will run four days each week, Monday through Thursday. Times will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and all students will receive breakfast and lunch free of charge. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. This program is designed with an academic focus to keep skills sharp over the summer.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL/ART SHOW
The annual PTA Ice Cream Social will be held Tuesday, May 13 from 5:00-6:15 p.m. Everyone is invited to enjoy a dessert with ice cream and a drink for $2.00/person. Beginning at 6:15 p.m., the Upper Elementary Choralettes will perform, as well as the UE Dancers, the UE Tumblers, and the Osage Percussion Jam team. This is always a fun evening and we hope you can attend.
ACCELERATED READER CAFE'
The annual AR Café will be held on Friday, May 9th
for the students who have reached 100% or more of their Accelerated Reader goal. The students will dine in a separate area and will be served by the principals, guidance counselor, librarian, teachers, and several volunteers from the PTA. The last day for AR testing will be Monday, May 5th
OFL STARTS APRIL 23
The Osage Football League will begin on Wednesday, April 23 and run through Saturday, May 3. All 4th
, and 6th
grade students are invited to participate. Practice starts right after school and runs until 5:30 p.m. There will be a Maroon vs. White game on Saturday, May 3, which will be played on the high school football field. Helmet, pads and pants will be provided for use during camp - Cost for participating is $30.
School will not be in session on April 18 or the Easter Holiday.
Kindergarten Screening and enrollment will be held April 11, April 25 and May 2 at the Lake Ozark Christian Church. The screening is open to children in the School of the Osage District who will be five years old before August 1st

MAP testing at the Upper Elementary will begin for all students on Monday, April 28. All grade levels will complete MAP testing by Friday, May 2. We appreciate your continued support in helping your child get plenty of rest and making sure they arrive at school on time. Students who arrive after 8:00 a.m. will be sent to the library and will have to make up the test later in the day.
VALENTINE'S DAY & RHYTHMIC EXPRESSION
The Upper Elementary students will be participating in a rhythmic expression activity on Friday, February 14. Coach Ezard, Mr. Blacksher, and Ms. Field have some exciting activities planned for each grade level during their special class time.
